Nurse midwives are educated in the fields of nursing and midwifery. Amanda received her Bachelor's of Science in Nursing from Georgia Southwestern State University. She continued her education at the University of Cincinnati where she earned a Master's of Science in Nursing, with a focus in midwifery and a Post Master's Certificate in Womens Health. Amanda is certified by the American College of Nurse Midwives. She recently passed the National Certification Corporation exam in Womens Health. She is a member of the nursing honor society Sigma Theta Tau and the American College of Nurse Midwives.
